Supporting local communities. Supporting local communities
We would like to say thank you to the local community for their help and support in helping Flashlight St Ives to help us help others. Without the ongoing support from organisations nationwide and local we would not be where we are today. Thank you.

Rag An Moyha Da: For The Greater Good
"Jody Robinson is a volunteer with Flashlight Youth Project in St Ives, Cornwall.
Based in The Tower in Bedford Road, the idea behind the project is to engage with young people who may have issue with school and education all the way to home and personal issues.
Jody, a trained counsellor who works with the Thrive approach to develop resilient and confident children, knows that it take time for these kids to engage with and open up to her, however, there is no pressure, nothing is forced but she is there for when they need her.
They think of themselves as a family, they sit and eat dinner together, they talk about their day and they genuinely care for each other.
She has an amazing attitude towards her volunteering role and the kids that Flashlight welcome, she has a personality that you instantly warm to and it is clear to see that her love for this comes from the heart. She is a complete star and one that continues to shine."

Flashlight St Ives @ Tate St Ives
We would like to say a big thank you too the local team @TateCollectives for being part of Flashlight St. Ives.
On the 14th of March Flashlight St. Ives was honoured to be involved with the Tate St. Ives and the Tate Collectives organised events.
We had the amazing opportunity to be involved in working with talented artists, see our hometown in a different light and become fully immersed in the culture of art.
Check out the brilliant video illustrating our time with Tate and just exactly what we got up to.
Check out our Gallery for more fun stuff to see.
